Ready for the vacation of a lifetime?
From lively cities to exotic locations, we'll find the perfect place for you and your family to live the resort life.
What does "all-inclusive" really include?
At its simplest: one price covers your room, all meals and snacks, drinks (alcoholic included), most non-motorized water sports, entertainment and tips. You stop reaching for your wallet, and the week costs what it said it would.
The details vary resort to resort — and that's where a specialist earns their keep. Some include à la carte restaurants, premium drinks, airport transfers or spa time; some charge extra.
- Restaurants: how many, whether they need reservations, and any surcharges.
- Transfer time: a long ride from the airport changes your first and last day.
- The beach: we'll tell you if the swimming is rocky or it's seaweed season.
- Room category: swim-up, ocean-view and club level can make the week.
Romantic, luxury or family-friendly?
Every resort is built around a certain kind of guest. Getting into the right one matters more than the star rating.
Romantic
Adults-only resorts like Sandals and Secrets — swim-up suites, candlelit dinners on the sand, couples' spa treatments and honeymoon touches. Perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries and destination weddings.
Luxury
Fewer rooms, more staff, private pools and beach clubs, top-shelf drinks and specialty dining included. Eileen is a Destination Wellness & Spa Expert and a Marriott Certified Hotel Specialist.
Family-friendly
Supervised kids' clubs, water parks, family suites and connecting rooms — with quiet corners for the grown-ups too. Family-friendly resorts such as Beaches, Riu and Hard Rock are popular choices.
